A busy and pivotal week starts tonight for the Knoxville Baseball Squad. The Panthers unlike many teams around the state have only played seven games in the first month of the season. Knoxville currently has lost seven games due to weather including Friday’s double-header against Pella Christian. That is scheduled to be made up as a J-V/Varsity match up tomorrow pending Pella Christian’s accepting of the offer. Coach Joel Johnson says he may save his better pitchers for the conference games this week knowing that tonight’s Centerville double-header is a non-conference match up. The rest of the week’s schedule after tonight is a home double header against Grinnell, and then a road trip to Oskaloosa on Friday.
