The Pella High baseball and softball teams pay a visit to two ranked Norwalk teams this evening. The Warriors’ softball club has won 14 consecutive games, including a 10 – 0 win over Pella Christian on Wednesday. Devin Brown for Norwalk has hit two home runs, driven in eight and holds a .318 average, which is only fifth best on the team. With a big test for her team looming, Coach Krista DeMeulenaere said that her team just needs to go out there and do their thing. Norwalk is 15 – 1 entering play and Pella is 5 – 8. On the baseball side of things, the Warriors are winners of nine of their last ten contests and it will be interesting to see how Pella shakes off their walk-off loss to Knoxville on Wednesday. The baseball doubleheader begins at 5:30 and softball starts at six.
