Pleasantville will stay at home for two big Pride of Iowa Conference games against Central Decatur tonight. After a slow start to the season, Pleasantville’s boys have picked things up of late, winners of four of their last five contests, with the only loss coming to number-three ranked Twin Cedars on Saturday. Central Decatur, on the other hand, has lacked consistency this season, and have only won one game in their last five tries. Trojans’ softball has only three wins, but they have had a chance to win most of the games they’ve played. Eleven of their losses have been by three runs or less, and eight of those eleven have been by exactly one run. Central Decatur is 13 – 7, and they have cooled off after a hot 8 – 1 beginning to their season. The JV contests for each game are scheduled to get underway at 6:00 p.m.
