Pleasantville baseball’s pitching is scorching hot as of late, and another Trojan picked up a complete game shutout, this time over Bedford on Friday, 9 – 0. Riley Krichau was the pitcher of note, scattering three hits and striking out seven batters. Offensively, nobody had more than one hit, and the Trojans collectively only came up with six, but they took advantage of defensive lapses by Bedford all game long to come away with the seemingly easy victory. Pleasantville is 11 – 7 now on the season, and they will head to Bussey for a mini-tournament where they could very well face Twin Cedars in the championship game later today.
