The City of Knoxville is unloading some bicycles this weekend. The annual Police Department unclaimed bike sale takes place this Saturday at 10am outside of the Municipal Building on Montgomery Street. Community Services Officer Arlene Worrall says that every year, they sell abandoned bikes that have been unclaimed for six months to make room in their storage facility. She adds that generally they have bikes of several sizes. Just about 50 bikes are likely to be available this Saturday. Each bike costs $10; you must have a photo ID and be at least 18-years-old to buy a bike.
