An above-average Oskaloosa squad invades Pella Christian High tonight, as the two schools faceoff on the baseball diamond in a varsity doubleheader. Pella Christian is 3 – 6 in the conference at the moment, facing an Indians team that is 5 – 2 in league play. These two teams played earlier this month, and at the time, the Eagles won 14 – 7. However, upon further review, Josh Van Gorp was not given the requisite time off between pitching appearances, and the Eagles had to forfeit the victory. Two wins tonight would help Pella Christian forget about that ordeal and give them a great deal of momentum heading into the rest of a tough week which features games against Pella and Norwalk. Game two of tonight’s doubleheader can be heard live on 92.1 KRLS and streamed live at KNIAKRLS.com with Cory Houser calling the game. Pregame coverage starts immediately after the Central College Radio Coaches Corner at around 7:30 p.m.
