Shortly before 3pm Tuesday afternoon, a Sully woman lost control of her sedan North of Pella and entered the ditch before coming to a stop on the drivers side. The Pella Fire, Pella EMS, Marion County Sheriff and Iowa State Patrol all responded to the scene. The woman was extricated from her car after the windshield was removed. She was then transported to Pella Regional Hospital with apparent non-life threatening injuries. The name has not been released, the cause of the accident is under investigation.
