Katy-Did’s in Bussey is raising money for a special cause when RAGBRAI comes through next week. Manager Candy Evans tells KNIA/KRLS News that they’ll be selling homegrown tomato sandwiches and donating those funds to HCI Care Services and the American Cancer Society. Evans explains that in the past year, she has lost both her mom and her uncle to cancer. She says that HCI’s hospice care was a big part of helping them die with respect. Bussey is a pass-through town on the route that will bring RAGBRAI riders from Knoxville to Oskaloosa on Thursday.
