The two Pella Christian ball clubs will come into tonight’s meet-up in Grinnell with two different stories from Monday. The Eagles’ softball team got hammered by Knoxville, 15 – 3. Coach Nate Van Wyk says he wants to see an all-around better effort tonight, and that starts with making the routine plays. On the baseball side, the Eagles’ boys won a pair of one-run games over a gritty Knoxville team on Monday and have a chance tonight to get back to even in the conference and overall. Coach Nate Johnson says he’s seeing lots of improvement out of his team. The varsity doubleheader for baseball is scheduled to start at 5:30 p.m. while the softball twinbilling is set to begin at six.
