Sophomore Taylor Hill of the Central women’s golf team has been named to the Women’s Golf Coaches Association All-American Scholars Team. A player must be a top varsity performer and carry a cumulative GPA of 3.50. Hill is seeking a major in elementary education and currently boasts a 3.87 GPA. She led the team with an average score of 80.6 in 12 varsity rounds through both the fall and spring seasons in 2012-13. Central has had at least one player recognized for the honor for the last seven years, and it’s the 46th time a men’s or women’s golfer has received the honor.
