4th of July events get started early in Marion County this year. Bussey’s Independence Runs start at 7:20 and 7:30 Thursday morning, with registration beginning at 6:45 at Bussey City Hall. They’ll have family activities throughout the day and a parade at 10am. In Knoxville, fireworks return for the first time in seven years. Those fireworks will start at dusk on Willets Drive. Willets Drive will be closed for traffic beginning at 2pm Thursday.
