The Knoxville Little League All-Stars are off to a rough start at the state tournament this week. Knoxville has started off 0-3 after falling to Sioux City Morningside and Webster City. The team then fell to Boone in their third game 16-6 after the game was tied at five going into the sixth and final inning. Manager Ryan Roberts told KNIA/KRLS that the guys are playing well, this season seems to be one of the better fields the state tournament has had in recent years. The winner of the round-robin tournament will go to the regional in Indianapolis.
