The Knoxville Little League All-Stars are going to the state tournament as they rolled through their district in impressive fashion. Knoxville beat Oskaloosa 11-2, Eddyville/Bussey 14-2, Grinnell 11-1, defeated Pella 12-2, routed Pleasantville 19-4, and in their closest game beat Newton 13-9. In their final game of the round robin tournament, they beat P-C-M 6-0 with a team not hitter. The team is managed by Ryan Roberts with coaches Mike Vaske, Jim Emerson, and Brian Bailey. The State Tournament is July 20th–27th.
