The Knoxville Baseball Squad’s season is over, however, the building process to get the Panthers back to their winning ways is still going on. Knoxville won just eight games in 2012, and doubled that in 2013. Coach Joel Johnson tells KNIA/KRLS Sports he knew they had to get off to a good start with such a young team. Knoxville got off to a 3-4, however the Panthers lost six of their games at the start of the season due to rain. Knoxville twice this season put together four-game winning streaks and finished second in the Little Hawkeye Conference.
