The postseason has arrived for the Knoxville Baseball Squad. The Panthers finished the season with a 15-and-15 record and finished second in the Little Hawkeye Conference. One of the strengths that Knoxville wanted to have this season was cutting down on the number of errors. Knoxville successfully did that by committing 71 errors to 115 last season. However…some things that Coach Joel Johnson is still working are stealing bases and cutting down on the strikeouts. Johnson says the strikeouts can be addressed right away in time for tonight’s first round game with Ballard. The Bombers are 17-and-15 on the season and are on a two game winning streak heading into tonight’s contest. You can hear the play-by-play on AM 1320 KNIA with Derek Cardwell and Marcus Johnson starting earlier today at 4:45 for the pre game and 5:00 for the first pitch.
