Trying to get better every game is the focus of the Pella High baseball team over the final three games of the season, and tonight the Little Dutch will welcome in Eddyville-Blakesburg to the Tulip City, looking for back-to-back wins for the first time since late June. The Rockets have played several common opponents, including a split with Knoxville last Saturday, a win over Pella Christian, and a pair of losses to Centerville and Grinnell, and they come into tonight’s game with a record of 24 – 12. For Pella, Coach Jesse Jablonski says that as they near the postseason, it’s all about playing their best baseball at just the right time. Tonight’s varsity contest is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
