A Marion County man was recently recognized by the Iowa DNR for his efforts in educating new hunters. Ryan Hardman, of rural Knoxville, was named the Hunter’s Education Instructor of the Year. DNR Conservation Officer Ken Kenyon says Hardman is a key part of the county’s education programs. He explains Hardman helps set up the three classes every year at the Sportsman’s Club and does a good job providing a fun experience. Kenyon adds that Hardman also works with the local shooting sports teams, helping provide continuing education.
