About 50 concerned residents attended a meeting last night held in Pella by the Taxpayers Against the Regional Airport. TARA representatives said the purpose of the meeting was to give people in the area their take on the new airport project, and explain the reasons they are raising concerns. Rob Hammond, says their specific focus right now is to try to stop the use of eminent domain on this project. Speakers included Tim Van Maanen, Rob Hammond, Mark Dolan and Larry Van Maanen, followed by a question and answer session.
