Finishing 2012-13 with a 10 – 14 record and a seventh place finish in the Iowa Conference, the Central men’s basketball team will be looking to improve on that and make it into the conference tournament come the 2013-14 season this winter. Coach Craig Douma says that they have the talent to do so, but it will all come down to the amount of work they put in during this offseason. The Dutch have a challenging non-conference schedule starting on November 15, which includes trips to Sioux Center to play Northwestern and Dordt, and a trip down to San Juan, Puerto Rico for a pair of games in late December.
