Power Outage in Marion County

UPDATE (12:55pm) – MidAmerican spokeswoman Abby Bottenfield tells KNIA/KRLS that repair crews had to open the circuit for a quick repair, causing the brief outage. The outage lasted approximately 10-20 minutes.

UPDATE (10:53am) – MidAmerican is now reporting 0 customers with power outages in Marion County.

Power is out for more than 1500 customers in Marion County according to MidAmerican. Stoplights are out currently on the corners of Lincoln and Pleasant in Knoxville as well as the corner of Rock Island and Pleasant. Please proceed with caution at those stoplights. The cause of the outage is unknown at this time. It is impacting several people in Knoxville. KNIA/KRLS will bring you more information as soon as it becomes official.
