The City of Knoxville is looking more ready for RAGBRAI after some new decorations were put up Friday. City employees secured bikes onto stoplights around the downtown square to help get the community into the cycling mood. Chamber of Commerce Director Larissa Van Donselaar says that the idea came from decoration committee member Kristi Van Hauen, who was inspired by ideas from her vacation.

The photo up top is of people decorating the bikes before they go on the stoplights.

The bikes were decorated by the following: Tami and Olivia Montgomery, Scott and Bobbi Karr, Zabrina, Regan and Ella Breazeale, Kris Mc Donald, Tim and Savannah Pitt, Heather Ussery, Dylan Feik, Brian, Candi, Mason & Jackson Hatch, Isabella and Ava Van Donselaar, Christina and Brianna Norman, Kelsi Chambers, and Courtney Bridges.
