They obliterated Moravia. They trounced Moulton-Udell. Pleasantville couldn’t keep up. And now, the Twin Cedars’ baseball team can get back to state for the first time since 2003 with a win over North Mahaska tonight. The Warhawks come in with a record of 24 – 8, and have wins this postseason over Lynnville-Sully, Montezuma and Cardinal of Eldon. Sabers’ coach, Matt Miller says both teams have a lot of momentum riding with them up to this point, and tonight will be a fight to the finish. The game tonight takes place on Pella Christian’s baseball diamond, and you can hear all of the action live on AM 1320 KNIA and streamed live at KNIAKRLS.com with Cory Houser and Marcus Johnson on the call. Pregame coverage starts at 6:45 p.m. with first pitch scheduled for seven.
