Nate Johnson finished up the first year as head coach of the Pella Christian baseball squad with a record of 14 – 17. One of the big triumphs this season for Coach Johnson was how the seniors handled themselves all year. He says that his seniors could have easily thrown in the towel this season but showed a lot of heart by doing the complete opposite. Johnson tells KNIA/KRLS Sports that his seniors were there every day trying to get better and he told their parents how proud of the seniors he was. Coach Johnson and the rest of his staff noticed how much the kids were buying into what they were teaching them all year. Pella Christian lost four seniors at the conclusion of the 2013 season.
