Currently holding the best record in the state, the Twin Cedars’ baseball team starts postseason play tonight against Moravia. The top half of the Class 1A district 10 bracket plays out like a mini-Bluegrass Conference tournament; the winner of the Twin Cedars-Moravia game tonight will face either Moulton-Udell or Mormon Trail in the semifinals. The Sabers did not allow a run against their conference opponents during their two regular season meet-ups, winning 16 – 0 and 19 – 0. Matt Miller, the Sabers’ skipper says that his team will be rewinding to the beginning of the season and practicing fundamentals leading up to their game this evening. The Class 1A district quarterfinal has a first pitch scheduled for 7:00 p.m. tonight.
