The Marion County Master Gardeners are holding their annual Garden Tour this weekend. This year, they’re bringing the tour up to Pleasantville. Four different gardens will be on display Saturday and Sunday – the theme this year is “fairy gardens.” Karen Ackley tells KNIA/KRLS News that Gary Holdeman will be sharpening garden tools at Pleasantville City Park on Saturday. You can pick up a map for the self-guided tour at that same location. The suggested donation is 10 dollars, with proceeds going to Habitat for Humanity. The garden tour runs from 10am-to-4pm Saturday and 1pm-to-5pm Sunday.

The following gardens are on the tour:
Bobbi’s Garden at 510 W. Pleasant Street featuring perennials and garden art;
Ruby’s Garden at 103 N. Sunset Drive with perennials and day lilies;
Tami’s Garden at 703 W. Jones Street featuring perennials, shade gardens, and raised vegetable gardens; and
Nancy’s Garden at 1019 43rd Avenue with mixed perennials, annuals, grasses, trees, and a covered bridge.
