The Pella Christian softball team lost three seniors at the conclusion of their season a few weeks ago that were workhorses on and off the diamond. Jenna Roose still contributed a great deal of leadership after her injury, while her senior teammates, Shannon Fynaardt and Jaynee VandeWeerdhof were getting it done on the field, on the mound, and at the plate. Coach Nate Van Wyk says in Fynaardt and VandeWeerdhof, he will be losing two dedicated and focused athletes. The Eagles finished with a 13 – 18 – 1 record.
