Despite missing the playoffs in 2012, Coach Gabe Bakker and his Pleasantville Trojans ended their season possibly the best way they could have, with a three-game winning streak. Bakker said that even though they started 0 – 6 last season, he’s happy with how the schedule ended up playing out. This year, Coach Bakker has noticed his guys even more fired up than they were in his rookie year at the helm. Bakker adds that some of that determination can be attributed to how last season ended and how anxious his players are to get back out there and show their district what they can do. The Trojans open up play at home against Eddyville-Blakesburg on August 30.
