Jablonski Learned a Lot in First Year as Head Coach

Jesse Jablonski got through his first year as head coach and learned quite a bit. He coached in more tight games than any coach would like to be in over the course of a season, won some games over bigger schools and realized he had to keep his emotions in check in some high pressure situations and even after a questionable call or two. Jablonski says that there are a lot of ups and downs over the course of a ballgame and he tries to tell his kids to stay even keel and not to ride that rollercoaster of emotions. Jablonski adds that baseball is such a game of emotions because it is so much up and down and back-and-forth at times, especially when you play in a lot of close ballgames, which Pella did in 2013. The Little Dutch head coach says that he’ll be working on keeping his emotions in check for next year because sometimes they get the best of you and you have to be able to control them.
