Several seniors departed the PCM volleyball team after last year, leaving some open slots for talented underclassmen to step into. First year head coach, Mollie Keitges is looking at two seniors in particular, Lexi Kain and Abbi Gilson, to be leaders on and off the court. Keitges says that Kain will spend a lot of time playing on the outside while Gilson will be in the middle. The team has set goals of finishing in the top two in the Heart of Iowa Conference and to win at least one tournament. The Mustangs actually start their season with a tournament, at Dallas Center-Grimes, where they will face the Fillies, Fort Dodge, Southeast Polk and Urbandale.
