Practices for our area volleyball squads began this past Monday. At Knoxville, the Panthers welcomed a new coach to the helm. Liz Sanders has been working with the girls for only week, but sees potential in her group. The Panthers return just three seniors and one with any varsity experience. Sanders has already set some early goals for the team and some long term goals for the future. Most of the team is made up of juniors and sophomores, however Sanders adds those girls had some varsity action last season. Knoxville opens up its season at Chariton September third.
