Fall sports officially kick off for Pella High tonight, as the Lady Dutch head to Ballard for a varsity match. Pella is coming off a 19 – 17 season, while Ballard was 6 – 21 to finish off 2012. Lady Dutch head coach, Catie Brand says that they are starting this season with a single match rather than with a tournament, and it should be better for her girls. The ninth-grade and JV teams will also play before the varsity match-up, which is scheduled to start at 7:30 p.m.
