Central’s football team is faced with a very tough first five games of the season this year. Wisconsin – Oshkosh pays a visit to the Ron and Joyce Schipper Stadium to open things up a week from Saturday, followed by a trip to Rock Island to play an improved Augustana team, a difficult game with Albion, and then on the road against both Dubuque and Simpson. Though they are just focusing on Oshkosh for now, Coach Jeff McMartin says his guys must keep their minds in tune with the task at hand. That’s not to say that the second half of their 2013 schedule isn’t hard; the Dutch still will have to make the drive to Loras and Wartburg for a pair of back-to-back games at the tail-end of their season.
