Pella Christian graduate, Caleb Morgan did not officially end his high school career with a loss at the hands of Colfax-Mingo in the Class 2A baseball district playoffs. Morgan was able to participate in the Iowa High School Athletic Association All-Star Game. The former Eagle was a member of the “Small Schools East” team, and played a round-robin format against some of the best players from the rest of the state who formed a pair of Large Schools East and West teams and a Small School West squad. Morgan says he was humbled to be a part of an elite group and the difference in the caliber of play was very noticeable. Morgan’s team took second place overall, falling to Large Schools West, which was comprised of several kids from Valley High and beyond.
