PCM was able to grab one win out of four contests on the volleyball courts yesterday during their stay at Dallas Center-Grimes. The Mustangs started by losing to the Fillies in three sets, 21 – 15, 14 – 21 and 11 – 15. They dropped their matches with Algona and Urbandale in straight sets before coming back to win over Nodaway Valley, 21 – 11 and 21 – 16. Abbi Gilson had 14 kills on the night to go along with 23 digs, Lexi Kain had 13 kills, and Emma Williams and Courtney VanHouweling combined to go 43-for-43 serving with three aces. PCM is 1 – 3 to begin the year, and have a week off before their next match this Tuesday at home against Carlisle.
