Passing Game, Kills Huge Strengths for Saints’ Volleyball in 2013

First year head coach, Tatum Starcevich has big things planned for the Melcher-Dallas volleyball team during her tenure at the helm of the Saints. Starcevich has four seniors on the team, two returners from Melcher-Dallas and two coming over from Indianola who played during the softball season. The Saints’ coach feels her four twelfth-graders bring two big strengths to the table.
“I say our passing game is spot on,” Starcevich says. “These girls, they hit their targets when they need to. Also, we have some very strong hitters. It’s going to be essential that they get their kills, because essentially, that’s what wins games.”
The Saints host Mormon-Trail a week from today to begin their 2013 regular season and Bluegrass Conference schedule.
