Quarterback is one area where the Knoxville Football Squad has no real question marks. Gerrit Davis returns as the starting signal caller, however, Jared McClung and Tanner Dunkin, who both saw varsity action last season, will see the field as quarterback as well. Coach Troy Rider says with the revamped offense, the coaching staff plans to tailor the offense to whoever is quarterbacking. Rider adds Dunkin represents the biggest dual-threat of the three. He says Dunkin can play running back and receiver, McClung throws the ball very well and plays a smart game, and Davis is an all-around good leader plus he seems to be grasping the offense very quickly.
