After acquiring a pair of Week Zero wins, both Melcher-Dallas and Twin Cedars are focused on moving to 2 – 0 on the season, but one school must get past the other first. It was the Saints that ended up on top in Bussey last year by a final score of 44 – 28, however, Melcher-Dallas had to depart with all of their seniors they had on that team from a year ago. Twin Cedars brings back several key offensive weapons, including Brent Parker, who went 16-for-25 passing last week under center for 264 yards and seven touchdowns. The kickoff time for tonight’s match-up has been pushed back one hour because of the heat, and is scheduled to get going in Melcher-Dallas at 8:00 p.m.
