The Pella High School Marching Dutch officially open their season with the 4th Annual Marching Dutch Invitational next Saturday. Director of the Marching Dutch, Jason Pentico, will lead his musicians against 18 of the area’s best high school marching bands, as they compete for top honors in four classes. The Marching Dutch will also give an exhibition performance of their 2013 Fall program, “On Air.” The competition starts at 5 pm, and gates open at 4:30 pm.
