Quail, Bobcats, and Otters Make Resurgence in Iowa

While the pheasant population has been declining for the last 5+ years, quail, bobcats, and otters have seen a resurgence in Iowa. Marion County Conservation Officer Ken Kenyon says, that otters were reintroduced to the Lake Red Rock area in the 1980’s when the state traded turkeys to Tennessee, who had received the otters from Louisiana.
