Popcorn grown by Central College students will be served at the Organic Garden Party this afternoon. Paul Weihe, Professor of Biology and co-manager of the garden with Jim Zaffiro, says that at the garden, they are trying to provide students with hands on experience, while also relating the food to other things they are learning about, such as the environmental, and health aspects of growing the food. The party is open to the community, and will take place from 4pm to 6pm at the corner of West 4th and Peace Streets.
