Aaron Fichter was pleased with how the first cross country meet of the season went for his Pleasantville Trojans yesterday at Wayne. Only one runner placed for the Trojans, and that was Max Johnson who finished tenth on the boys’ side. Fichter tells KNIA/KRLS Sports that his girls just needed to get the first meet out of the way, and even for his boys’, the sport is new for all but two of them. The Pleasantville coach added that he knows they will all improve and run better at the next meet, which is this Tuesday at Lake Keomah.
