Spirit week is in it’s final day at Pella High and all that’s left is the pep rally, football game, and dance. High school principal Eric Nelson says that the week’s activities are a great way to get the everyone intermingling, including the freshmen and seniors that wouldn’t ordinarily interact. The entire school district will be dressed in green and white, and the administration will grill burgers for lunch at the high school. Fall sport captains, cheerleaders, and the homecoming court will make the rounds for elementary pep rally’s beginning with Lincoln at 1 pm, followed by Madison at 1:30pm, and then Jefferson at 2pm. For the first time ever the middle school and high school will have a combined pep assembly at the football stadium beginning at 2:40. The football game will begin at 7:30 as Pella hosts Carlisle, and the dance will follow the conclusion of the game.
