The runners in Oskaloosa last night didn’t seem to mind the almost fall-like conditions outside during the Indians’ cross country meet. Pella Christian’s girls came in eighth out of nine teams on the varsity side, led by Andrea Carballo who clocked in with a time of 19:19 for 45th place and Morgan Anderson’s time of 19:29 who was right behind her in 46th. For the Eagles’ boys, they were seventh out of 11 schools overall. Jacob Lensing was the tenth fastest boy on the Oskaloosa course, running his route in a time of 18:15. Pella Christian’s cross country team doesn’t have much time to rest, as they are right back to work tomorrow to run a meet at Lynnville-Sully.
