The physical plant levy for the Knoxville School District and both the facilities levy and equipment levy for DMACC passed by wide margins during the elections on Tuesday. The Knoxville levy was approved by nearly 90 percent of voters in the district. In Marion County overall, the DMACC equipment levy was approved by around 78 percent of voters, while the DMACC facilities levy was approved by around 74 percent of voters.

All candidates for school board also were approved by voters without any write-ins contesting. The election results are considered unofficial until certified by the Board of Supervisors.
