The Knoxville Football Squad looks for its first win of the season tonight in Winterset. The Panthers have lost their first couple games although they had chances to pull off the win in both contests. Tonight also begins Class 3A District eight play so the games become more important. Coach Troy Rider says Winterset provides a unique situation defensively, as the Huskies will try to play zone, something that Knoxville has not encountered this season. Rider tells KNIA/KRLS Sports that as a play caller he will have to be a little more patient and pick his spots when to go for a big play. Rider adds unlike last week, the practices have been pretty good. He says the guys know what is ahead of them, and thinks they are focused. You can hear the play-by-play on AM 1320 KNIA and streamed live at kniakrls.com following the Football Friday Night Radio Preview Show at seven.
