Coming off their first long break of the season, the Pella High volleyball team will host Grinnell for their third conference match this year. Pella last played exactly one week ago, with the Lady Dutch sweeping newcomer Dallas Center-Grimes in straight sets on the road. Pella is one of three teams undefeated thus far in Little Hawkeye Conference play, with Knoxville and Newton being the other two. The Tigers are 1 – 2 in league play, and Pella coach Catie Brand says that tonight she hopes her girls finish the match better than they did last year. In the most recent Iowa Girls’ High School Athletic Union poll, Pella’s girls are ranked 15th. The varsity match between the two schools is scheduled for 7:15 p.m.
