The busy Pella High volleyball team came back home for more tournament action last night, and went 1 – 2 on the evening. Bondurant-Farrar had a clean sweep, beating the Lady Dutch, Gilbert and A-D-M, while Pella had a 2 – 1 victory over A-D-M for their lone win, 26 – 24, 23 – 25, and 15 – 12. All of Pella’s games were very close; only one game was decided by five points, and the rest were by three or less. Catie Brand says that her girls had to dig out of too many holes in their losses that they couldn’t quite get out of. Pella is 6 – 4 and are off until Saturday when they go to Iowa City High for a varsity tournament.
