Melcher-Dallas and Twin Cedars made quick work of their opponents in Eight-Man football action on Friday. The Saints clobbered Moravia 62 – 0 in a game that was 40 – 0 by the end of the first half. Coach Mike Horstman tells KNIA/KRLS Sports that the bye week helped his guys be the most focused he’s seen them all season and hopes that the win propels them the rest of the season. Twin Cedars defeated Meskwaki Settlement, 52 – 22. The Saints improve to 3 – 1 overall and are 2 – 1 in Eight Man District 5, while the Sabers are now 5 – 0 with a 3 – 0 mark within the same district. Melcher-Dallas concludes their long road trip this Friday to play Tri-County, and Twin Cedars is back at home for a huge match-up against H-L-V.
