Famous names like Grave Digger, Monster Mutt and King Crunch will invade the Knoxville Raceway on Friday and Saturday. For the first time in Knoxville Raceway’s history, the Advance Auto Parts Monster Jam will take the spotlight on the famous half-mile long oval. General Manager, Brian Stickel says that the surface of the race track offers some benefits to the monster truck drivers. In venues such as the Wells Fargo Arena, the trucks are barely able to get on the throttle, but with the open area that Knoxville’s track provides, the mean machines can really let loose. Tickets are still available at a price of $15 for adults and $9 for kids, and gates open each day at 6:30 p.m.
