PCM Escapes With Win in District Opener

PCM went on the road to Maxwell for their first district game of 2013, claiming a 35-27 victory over CMB. A pick six by Ricky Reeve in the opening quarter gave the Mustangs a 6-0 lead. 2nd quarter scores on the ground by Ronnie Marshall, and through the air from Gilman to Uhlenhopp, gave PCM a 21-0 advantage. PCM scored a final touchdown by McWilliams with less than two minutes remaining, sealing the Mustang victory. McWilliams had 32 carries for 217 yards and two touchdowns. PCM improves to 3-1 overall and 1-0 in Class 2A District 6, and will travel to Truro to face I-35 next Friday.
